Bobby Lashley Issues Warning to Jon Moxley

Bobby Lashley debuted in All Elite Wrestling on October 30th last year, rejoining his former WWE stablemates MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and The Hurt Syndicate are one of the hottest acts in AEW right now with Lashley and Benjamin winning the World Tag Team Titles last month. It’s inevitable that Bobby Lashley will get a World Championship shot at some point. He’s very over right now and a legit main event talent.  Lashley gave a warning to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley when speaking to the Sporting Tribune . Lashley said it’s only a matter of time till they face off but he’s focused on his tag team right now. Lashley said that when Jon Moxley sees him in the locker room, he stays clear of him.  Despite being cheered like a babyface, Bobby Lashley is a heel and Jon Moxley is also a heel so I don’t see them facing off soon. But I like the idea of a Moxley/Lashley match whether it’s for the Title or not. Saying that, I’d also be a fan of Bo...

The Weirdest Elimination Chamber Show In History

WWE Elimination Chamber usually takes place in February or early March. However, in 2015 the event took place on May 31st from American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The event was supposed to happen in February like it usually does. However, due to the size of the chamber structure many arenas couldn’t handle the massive match-type. WWE pivoted from Elimination Chamber to Fastlane. It looked like we wouldn’t get the infamous Elimination Chamber in 2015.  However in May, WWE decided to cancel a live event that was supposed to be held in Greenville, South Carolina in order to bring the whole roster together for a super show on May 31st . The super show being Elimination Chamber. This was a weird show. WWE was in a transition period with the company trying to build the stars of the future while the main event talent of the past fades out. Wrestlers like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens were on the rise while wrestlers like John Cena, Randy Orton, ...

Top 3 Potential Opponents for Penta in WWE

Penta debuted for WWE last month and immediately entered into a program with Chad Gable. Who in WWE do you want to see Penta face the most? We’ve seen him wrestle for AEW, ROH, TNA, the indies and in Mexico but this is his first run in WWE and there’s a whole crop of wrestlers he’s yet to face. Today, I’ll go over some of the top guys I’d like to him face. I’m not going to include wrestlers he’s already faced in other places like CM Punk, LA Knight and Rey Mysterio.   First off, I want to see Penta face Dominik Mysterio. I understand that Dominik’s dad Rey is a legend and that people may want to see that but as I’ve mentioned, we’ve seen it before. Albeit, in front of a smaller audience in Lucha Underground but enough people have seen them tango before. That’s why I want to see Penta face Dominik. Dominik is arguably the top heel in all of wrestling and would get a lot of heat on a match between them. Penta could talk about how he had to actually learn the art of Lucha while Domi...

10 Years Ago Today: Kevin Owens Wins The NXT Championship from Sami Zayn

We're celebrating the 10th anniversary of Kevin Owens' first Championship reign in WWE. On February 11th, 2015 Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover: Rival. It was exactly two months to the day since Kevin Owens debuted for the company. Owens defeated his often-friend often-rivalry in the main event of the show via referee stoppage.  Owens became the sixth wrestler to win the Championship and held it for a recognized 142 days. He lost it to Finn Balor at the Beast in the East super show. Kevin Owens quickly ascended the ranks in WWE, winning the Universal Championship less than 2 years after debuting in NXT.  What are your thoughts on Kevin Owens' time in NXT? Crazy that this was ten years ago.

A Stacked Edition of NXT Tonight

There’s a pretty stacked episode of WWE NXT tonight. It’s the go-home show for Vengeance Day on Saturday. We have two Championship matches and two veterans from NXT past return to their original stomping grounds. Tony D’Angelo’s feud with Ridge Holland will come to a massive head tonight in a steel cage match.   Match Card NXT Heritage Cup Championship Match: Lexis King (c) vs. JDC (Fandango)  NXT North American Championship: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Ridge Holland in a steel cage match Bayley vs. Cora Jade Triple-Threat Tag Team Match: Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura vs. No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights and Myles Bourne vs. Hank and Tank  Not a bad card, especially going into Vengeance Day. I’m surprised they’re putting the North American Championship match on television rather than premium live event. Bayley takes on Roxanne Perez at Vengeance Day and here she gets another NXT talent with a ton of potential, Cora Jade. The top three matches have the chance to ...

What Went Wrong for Malakai Black in AEW?

Malakai Black is reportedly done with All Elite Wrestling. PWInsider reports that his contract with AEW expired yesterday and today he was removed from AEW’s website’s roster page. Why wasn’t his run in AEW more successful?   He debuted with AEW on July 7th, 2021’s Dynamite and attacked Cody Rhodes and Arn Anderson. Black was released by WWE the previous month and instantly became one of the hottest names on the market. Black experienced the most success of his career in WWE NXT as Aleister Black. Holding the NXT Championship in 2018. Upon his AEW debut, Black had a months long feud with Cody Rhodes. This feud didn’t help Black as much as it should have. AEW’s audience had Cody Rhodes fatigue at the time and while Cody was a big name, this shouldn’t have been Malakai’s first AEW feud. Black formed the group House of Black with Julia Hart, Brody King and Buddy Matthews. The group had potential but never lived up to it. Being plagued by injuries, off-air issues and questionable book...

Will We See TNA DLC in WWE 2K25?

WWE 2K25’s launch on March 14th is fast approaching and there’s tons of speculation as to who’s going to be part of the playable roster. We live in an era where they can release the game and then make you pay to download more of the roster. Would it be worth it to buy if the DLC included TNA wrestlers? Joe Hendry appeared on the Ariel Helwani Show and talked the upcoming game.  He said “can you imagine if we had TNA DLC?” to Ariel. Hendry said it wouldn’t have to include current wrestlers like himself but classic ones like TNA AJ Styles. You know what Joe? That’s a tremendous idea. TNA has an extensive history of legends and has a good, young current roster.   As far as current wrestlers, I’d like to see Eddie Edwards, The Hardy Boyz (Just so we can get them back in a WWE game), Xia Brookside, Masha Slamovich and Joe Hendry himself of course. With the exception of the Hardy Boyz, none of these wrestlers have ever been in a WWE game.  Here’s where it gets fun. Which TNA le...

Several Wrestlers Reportedly Gone from AEW

Following WWE releasing 10+ wrestlers throughout the weekend, there are reports that several wrestlers are gone from All Elite Wrestling. The landscape of wrestling has changed. We’re wishing the best for every wrestler gone from the two biggest wrestling companies in the world.   According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Malakai Black and Miro are both gone from AEW. Johnson also noted that Ricky Starks has been removed from the AEW Roster page. Which is typically means a wrestler has finished up with the company.  These are big names that are about to hit the open market. In my opinion, all three of these guys could be World Champion in either company. I’m shocked by how Ricky Starks’ AEW career ended up playing out. This time last year, he looked like a no doubt future World Champion in the company. He can go in the wrong, and was arguably the most charismatic wrestler on a roster filled with guys like with Adam Copeland, Adam Cole and MJF. Starks hasn’t been seen on A...

Analyzing the Latest WWE Releases

We’ve gotten reports from PWInsider, Fightful and the wrestlers themselves confirming a whole slew of WWE releases and contracts not being renewed. As of February 8th at 2pm, the following wrestlers have been reportedly released:  Akam, Rezar and Paul Ellering (Fightful Select)  Cedric Alexander (Himself)  Isla Dawn (Herself)  Sonya Deville (PWInsider)  Blair Davenport (PWInsider)  Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (Fightful Select)  Giovanni Vinci (Fightful Select)  This was all kicked off with the reported release of Duke Hudson by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful. That release actually occurred in January according to Sapp but more have followed.  The Good Brothers have been released again! Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson once again find themselves without a home. Going back to Japan for a stint would make a ton of sense as they were staples in New Japan Pro Wrestling for years.  Another tag team that find themselves on the street again is the ...

Are You Disappointed by the Upcoming AEW Grand Slam Australia?

AEW Grand Slam: Australia is coming up in less than two weeks on February 15th from Brisbane, and I’ve noticed some negativity surrounding the event. There are a few reasons why some fans are feeling disappointed. The biggest issue is that this will be a special edition of Collision airing on TV rather than a pay-per-view. On the  SquaredCircle  Reddit , several users attending the show have expressed their displeasure with the announcement that it will be a special edition of  Collision  rather than a PPV. Personally, I’d rather it  not  be a PPV—I won’t have to pay for it—but I understand why fans would prefer it. The biggest moments in AEW, like title changes, surprise debuts, or five-star matches, typically happen on pay-per-view, so it makes sense that fans were expecting something bigger.  The second reason for disappointment is the venue change. When the event was first announced on August 25th, it was set to take place at Suncorp Stadium, a 52,...

Promos Returning to WWE Universe Mode in WWE 2K25

WWE and 2K announced WWE 2K25 and there’s some exciting features like the new “Island” and online MyGM multi-player. What’s gotten my excited however, is the return of promos in Universe Mode. Players haven’t been able to add promos in the mode since 2K20. Every year I go to play Universe Mode when the new game comes out, I look to add promos to my shows but it doesn’t let me. It’s been slightly annoying. Not annoying to the point where it actually frustrates me, it’s like biting my tongue every time I want to try add promos. I’m assuming they wanted to push people to MyGM, which was introduced in WWE2K22 and featured promos.  In the official release for 2K25, the developers announced finally announced the return of promos. MyGM is great and a lot of fun but there’s not a lot of flexibility to really do what you want. For instance, you can’t create custom shows. Universe Mode let’s you do that. Custom shows, PPVs and Championships. It really makes you feel like you’re running the ...

Will Josh Alexander Sign With WWE?

Josh Alexander’s contract with TNA Wrestling is up. Over the past couple of months, we've seen TNA let a few big names slip away, including Jordynne Grace, Rhyno, and PCO, with the most notable being Jordynne Grace, who officially debuted for WWE at this past weekend’s Royal Rumble. Could we see “The Walking Weapon” join Grace in WWE? I would be a massive fan of WWE signing this talented grappler.  We didn’t see him move to NXT over the last year, like Joe Hendry and Hammerstone during the initial NXT/TNA crossover, which I was disappointed by. I’m a big fan of Josh Alexander. He’s a technical machine with the ability to be a top guy, and he can get both himself and his opponent over on the mic. He’s been TNA’s franchise player for the past four years, becoming their longest-reigning World Champion ever. His former tag team partner from The North, Ethan Page, has been in NXT for over a year and has blossomed into one of the top heels on the brand. I would love to see Josh join Etha...

Did WWE Spoil John Cena Failing to Win the Royal Rumble?

We saw Jey Uso win the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble tonight—a move that nobody was expecting. It seemed like a foregone conclusion that either John Cena, CM Punk, or even Roman Reigns would win. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were eliminated by CM Punk, and then Punk was taken out by Logan Paul in a shocking move. This left the remaining favourites in the match: John Cena, Logan Paul, and Jey Uso. While John Cena was a big favourite heading into the match, should we have seen his loss coming?  When we got to the final two, Uso and Cena, I asked myself a question: “If John Cena wins the Royal Rumble, what will he do at Elimination Chamber?” It’s already been confirmed that Cena will wrestle for the final time in Toronto at Elimination Chamber next month. If he won the Rumble, he would have no reason to compete in the Elimination Chamber match. He’d already be the #1 contender, so there’d be no point in being in a match for the title with five other guys. The same goes for a Championship ...
