Christian returned to WWE in 2009 and was put on the ECW brand as a veteran wrestler who could work with the younger talent like Jack Swagger and Ezekiel Jackson. Christian would enjoy a lengthy second reign with the Title after beating Tommy Dreamer. He carried this brand on his back in 2009.

CM Punk's ECW Championship reign in 2007-2008 played a significant role in establishing him as one of WWE's top talents. Punk's "straight-edge" persona and in-ring skills drew attention and acclaim. New NXT Champion Ethan Page Gets His Side Plates

Ethan Page shocked the world when he won the NXT Championship last night at Heatwave. Well, I should say he stole the Title. Several AEW Releases Reported

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Monday that announcer Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux have been cut from the roster. PWInsider additionally reported that The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry have also been released.   We have word on several All Elite Wrestling releases. On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released.  In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents."  This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company.
