NWA Announcing Two New Big TV Deals

We have exciting news for NWA wrestling fans! Billy Corgan appeared on Busted Open, the Sirius XM wrestling radio show and revealed that his company will be announcing two new TV deals.

"I have to be a bit vague because there's some other political aspects to this but I can now say that we finally have signed not just one but two television deals, and that announcement as far as where and who will be coming soon," Corgan proclaimed. "But we finally now will be able to move off YouTube, not exclusively because we want to still do stuff on YouTube, but we now will be moving (to) a network partner."

Here’s what’s more exciting… Billy’s saying one of the networks is Top 20! Regardless of if you’re a fan of NWA or not, wrestling coming to a big network is always fun.

"I have to be vague, I can't say who but I can say it's a top 20 network," he continued. "I'm very excited, I've been working on this for over a year. Like I said, not just one but two television deals are involved. Two totally different wrestling-related products we will be offering in 2024."

Several AEW Releases Reported

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Monday that announcer Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux have been cut from the roster. PWInsider additionally reported that The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry have also been released. We have word on several All Elite Wrestling releases. On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released. In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents." This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company.
