Carlito Is Officially Part of the Smackdown Roster

Carlito returned to WWE this past weekend at WWE Fastlane and he’s officially a Smackdown wrestler. Carlito helped the Latino World Order to defeat Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. The LWO of course are on Smackdown so the move makes sense. This marks his second return to WWE this year, having previously coming back at Backlash from Puerto Rico.

WWE posted Carlito on their roster page, meaning the former Intercontinental Champion is officially back in the company on the blue brand.

I can’t wait to see what Carlito gets up to. I was a fan of his back in the day, and I love a good reunion. There’s a totally new crop of superstars since he was last there. From the likes of up and coming stars like Austin Theory and Grayson Waller to veterans he’s never squared off with like AJ Styles and Sheamus.

What do you think about Carlito being on Smackdown? I think it’s a good fit for him and I’m looking forward to seeing what he gets up to.

New NXT Champion Ethan Page Gets His Side Plates

Ethan Page shocked the world when he won the NXT Championship last night at Heatwave. Well, I should say he stole the Title. You can check out more details here . Several AEW Releases Reported

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Monday that announcer Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux have been cut from the roster. PWInsider additionally reported that The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry have also been released. We have word on several All Elite Wrestling releases. On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released. In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents." This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company.
