Bryan Danielson’s injury appears to be worst than originally thought according to his wife, Brie Bella/Danielson. She posted on Instagram saying it’s worse than expected and expressed her dissatisfaction with him wrestling 10 minutes after the break.
Danielson wrestled Kazuchika Okada in the main event of Forbidden Door. Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer confirmed on Twitter that Bryan fractured his arm with 10 minutes left in the match. Danielson confirmed the unfortunate injury on the Forbidden Door press conference.
Fans were hoping he would be available for the yet to be announced Blood and Guts show and for All In at Wembley Stadium in August. According to his wife, that may not happen. Fans will remain hopeful that he can make a recovery for All In. They could always schedule Blood and Guts in September or October. Maybe for Collision to help boost the ratings. According to Fightful, it’s looking like a July 19th date for Blood and Guts, AEW’s debut in Boston. That could easily change if they want Danielson for the annual television special.
We’re hoping the best for Bryan Danielson as he recovers from the injury. We’ll give you more updates as we get them.
