Are The "5 Moves of Doom" All We'll See from John Cena Now?

It sounds like John Cena’s performance at Wrestlemania this year is the best we’re going to get from him. John Cena appeared on the Busted Open Radio Sirius show with David LeGreca and Bully Ray. He revealed that with what’s he doing right now, a Wrestlemania 39-like Cena match is what we’ll get. Which honestly is totally cool. Nobody has ever accused John Cena have being a great technical wrestler. He was always a better character and talker than in-ring.

“I just like seeing people who are passionate about the business, who wanna be there, who wanna show up, who aren’t using it as a vehicle to do something else because the thing itself is awesome and it’s okay if you get other opportunities outside. That’s a testament to your work but man, I wish I was still there every day. My body can’t do it anymore. I don’t wanna give the consumer a bad product. That’s another thing I learned from those veterans at the time. Guys like Eddie (Guerrero) would just risk so much and he’s like, ‘I’m never gonna give the consumer a bad product. I don’t care how I feel, I don’t care how I feel physically, I don’t care what baggage I have mentally, when I’m on, they paid good money and I’m gonna go out there and give everything I have and sometimes find it when it’s not there’ and I’m at a point where everything I have in comparison to the bar that’s been set, boy, what I have is what you saw at WrestleMania 39. That’s what I feel confident that I can deliver and that’s really nice for here and there. That’s not every day in the WWE, that’s not every day in sports entertainment.”

What do you think about this? I’m fine with John Cena wrestling a couple of times a year, giving his 5 Moves of Doom and peacing out to film movies for another 5 months. It’s better than what The Rock does. I appreciate John Cena for still giving his fans in WWE a show. To be fair, if he's in there with an opponent who's better technically like AJ Styles or Seth Rollins, we could see better. Who's to say though?

Ethan Page shocked the world when he won the NXT Championship last night at Heatwave. Well, I should say he stole the Title. You can check out more details here . Several AEW Releases Reported

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Monday that announcer Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux have been cut from the roster. PWInsider additionally reported that The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry have also been released. We have word on several All Elite Wrestling releases. On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released. In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents." This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company.
