Could Eric Young Be The One Portraying Uncle Howdy

There has been a lot of speculation among wrestling fans about the true identity of the controversial character Uncle Howdy. The character debuted as part of Bray Wyatt's return to the company and many have speculated that it'll be Bo Dallas.

Dallas is the brother of Bray Wyatt and fans have wanted them to team up for years. While that would make a ton of sense, Bo Dallas seems pretty content being a farmer right now. Fightful is reporting that Bo is backstage although he could be doing other things for the company.

One name that has come up in discussions about the Uncle Howdy character is Eric Young. Which discussions? Well, discussion I've been having with myself. Young is a veteran of the wrestling industry, having spent many years as a performer in WWE and Impact Wrestling. He is a multi-time champion and has a reputation as a respected and accomplished wrestler.

Young has a big beard and the Uncle Howdy character also has one. He's also been known to play weird characters before and the Sanity version of himself was no stranger to the occult.

This is purely conjecture by myself but I haven't heard a lot of people talking about Eric Young. As Twitter user Corey Moore pointed that Eric Young is too short to be Uncle Howdy. To that I say, it's wrestling, brother. They can make anything a possibility. Many are wondering if we'll get the reveal of Uncle Howdy's identity tonight on Raw and I don't think that'll happen.

Regardless of who is behind the character, it's clear that Uncle Howdy has generated a strong reaction from fans and has become a hot topic of discussion in the wrestling world.

I'll be watching Raw tonight and will be live tweeting/reacting to a lot of it. Please follow along on Twitter. It'll be an exciting night if we get the reveal of Uncle Howdy tonight. Although I don't think it'll happen.

On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...
