Could Vince McMahon Become United States Vice President?

It’s crazy we’re already talking about the next presidential election, but with the current political climate being what it is, it's no surprise that speculation is running rampant. One idea I think would be entertaining and hilarious is Donald Trump choosing Vince McMahon, the former Chairman of WWE, as his running mate in the next election.

While this may seem like a far-fetched idea at first, it's important to remember that Trump has a history with McMahon. The two men have known each other for years, and Trump even made an appearance at WWE's WrestleMania 23 event in 2007, where he famously "body slammed" McMahon in a wrestling match.

So, could McMahon really be a viable running mate for Trump? It's definitely possible, but it would be a risky move for both men. For one thing, McMahon is not a politician by any stretch of the imagination. While he has plenty of experience running a successful business, it's unclear how he would fare on the campaign trail or in the White House.

Additionally, McMahon has faced his fair share of controversy over the years. He has been criticized for the way WWE has portrayed women and minorities, and is involved in a big sexual misconduct investigation. While these issues may not necessarily disqualify him from running for office, they could certainly be used against him by his opponents.

Ultimately, it's impossible to say whether or not Trump will choose McMahon as his running mate. But if he does, it would certainly be an interesting development in what is sure to be a contentious election season.

Whether or not it would be a wise move, however, remains to be seen. I doubt he will but it certainly would be controversial! Follow along on Twitter for more and make sure to keep it locked here for extended coverage.

In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How t...
