What Do You Want Out of the Elite

The Elite is one of the best stables in professional wrestling going today. The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, collectively known as The Elite haven't been seen on wrestling televsion in months. Outside of these video packages that started popping up a few weeks ago on Dynamite.

They haven't been seen since the brawl that followed All Out. Following CM Punk's comments about telling people to talk to him if they have an issue. The group along with Punk was suspended for their actions. Which allegedly involved Ace Steel biting Kenny Omega and CM Punk's dog being in harm's way.

Now it appears they'll be back in our lives. They'll either fully return at Full Gear or we'll get a big clue about when they're coming back at the show. My question for you is this.

What do you want to see out of The Elite when they return to AEW? I'm assuming we're getting a match between them and Death Triangle. Whether that’ll happen at Full Gear or not remains to be seen.

There’s singles, tag and trios matches that can be had for the group. There’s still dream matches on the table for Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. Who wouldn’t want to see The Elite take on The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn in a trios match? Or Kenny Omega taking on MJF.

The hype is there. Will AEW deliver on the return of The Elite to the promotion they’re named after? Follow along on Twitter for more updates and keep it locked here for more blogs and opinions on wrestling.

Book This Episode 1: The Summer of Punk Rebooked Prelude

Let’s go back to 2011, specifically June of 2011. CM Punk’s contract is expiring soon and he’s getting ready to have the biggest run of his career. On June 27th, 2011 CM Punk would cut a promo that would have the wrestling world buzzing for years to come. In his promo, Punk said that his contract expired next month and that he, the Number One Contender, would be leaving  WWE with the WWE Championship. He’d also go onto take shots at not only his opponent the following month, John Cena but other icons in the history of WWE. Whether employed by the company or not. He’d also tease defending his WWE Championship in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Essentially he’d be a travelling World Champion, ala the territory days. Well, CM Punk did win the WWE Championship the next month from John Cena at Money in the Bank. However, what would happen after would disappoint wrestling fans more than anything else that’s happened in years.       How they bungled this storyline, I’m not ent

I'm thrilled for him to be in the spot that he's in. Something tells me this won't be the last time he holds gold in WWE.

On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Dasha Kuret, Stu Grayson, Jose the Assistant, Jora Johl, Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux have been released.  In addition to Sean’s announcements, PWInsider reported the release of The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) and Anthony Henry. PWInsider also notes that AEW is "evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents."  This is the second time Stu Grayson has been released from the company. Maybe the third time in the future will be the charm.  I wonder what happens to Parker Boudreaux. He has the look of a future World Heavyweight Cha
