Rob Van Dam Wrestling on April 20th AEW Collision

AEW will feature Rob Van Dam in action on Saturday's Rampage. RVD is being brought back for the "420" festivities. Collision and Rampage are airing back to back live. Rampage moved from Friday to Saturday and will know be shown live instead of taped like it usually is.  Tony Khan spoke on the Battleground Podcast and talked about bringing in "The Whole F'n Show" for this Saturday's shows.  “Well, it’s 4/20 on Saturday. So I thought it would be very fitting to bring RVD to Peoria and have RVD as part of this weekend’s Collision. So, we are going to have a huge Dynamite tonight on TBS."  It's been announced that RVD will take on Lee Johnson, Isiah Kassidy and Komander in a "High Flying 420 Elimination Four-Way" on Rampage. Van Dam last match in AEW was a trios tag loss with Hook and Adam Page against Brian Cage, Swerve Strickland and Samoa Joe. RVD first debuted for AEW last August when he unsuccessfully challenged former FTW Champion Ja

Should WWE Start Inducting Matches into the Hall of Fame?

The WWE Hall of Fame inducts wrestlers, managers, announcers, contributors, promoters, tag teams and stables. What if they started inducting matches into the Hall of Fame like UFC does? UFC started inducting matches into their Hall of Fame in 2013 with Forrest Griffin vs Stephan Bonnar being the first fight honoured.  Should WWE start inducting matches? What match would be the first to go in?  The first match I would induct into the WWE Hall of Fame is Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25. This match is perfect in my opinion. Five stars anywhere in the world if I’m giving out star rankings. It stands the test of time and features two of the most legendary wrestlers of all time. If WWE’s looking for the perfect first match to induct, I think this is it. Fans are still talking about this years later and is fondly remembered by fans and wrestlers alike. It’s the perfect first induction if they decide to do this.  Other matches that could go in are Ricky Steamboat vs Randy S

Erick Rowan Cancels Indie Show Appearance | Headed Back to WWE?

Could Erick Rowan be headed back to WWE? He was supposed to wrestle at Canadian promotion East Coast Pro Wrestling’s Cole Town Carnage event next weekend but has been pulled from the card.  The promotion based out of Nova Scotia posted this on their Facebook page:  “We have just received word this evening from Erick Rowan that unfortunately he will not be able to make his scheduled appearance next week at Coal Town Carnage. Erick stated that new contractual obligations are preventing him from making several dates including ours. This is the first time in ECPW history that one of our scheduled stars cancelled and it is out of our control. With that being said, the show will still feature Former WWE Superstar Brian Kendrick, the debut of Vanessa Kraven plus all of the superstars or East Coast Pro Wrestling. Three title matches, a New Waterford Rumble and much more goes down next Saturday at The New Waterford & District Community Center. Please message the ECPW FB Page i

Thoughts on Bully Ray's WrestleMania Appearance?

At WrestleMania this year we saw Bubba Ray Dudley return to WWE to be the special guest referee for The Pride beating The Final Testament. It was a nice return to Philadelphia for an ECW legend, one that hasn't been seen on WWE TV for years. They had to have more of an ECW presence than just seeing some of the other originals during Paul Heyman's WWE Hall of Fame induction. I thought bringing Bubba out in front of the crowd was cool although it would have been nice to see Brother Devon too.  Nowadays, Bubba still occasionally wrestles as Bully Ray in TNA. He's also a host on the Sirius XM pro wrestling show Busted Open. On Busted Open Bubba said this was the first time he was able to really take in and enjoy the WrestleMania experience.  "People are going to say, 'Oh, that sounds crazy, you've been involved in so many great ones and had so many memorable matches,' but the level of stress that came with those matches, you're not able to take it all in. Y

Will Hook Go to WWE?

Hook has more potential than almost anyone else in his generation. He's over with the audience and his wrestling is coming along quite well. Combine that with being a second generation wrestler and Hook could become a huge star in professional wrestling one day. Will that be with his home company All Elite Wrestling? A new report from SE Scoops says that Hook may look to explore his free agency at the end of the year. You would have to imagine that WWE will be interested if that's the case.  WWE making a big play to get Hook not only gives them a potential future World Champion but more importantly, takes one away from AEW. The current FTW Champion has been in a program with legendary grappler and eight time World Champion, Chris Jericho. A lot of fans feel like shouldn't be involved with Jericho given his track record with younger wrestlers over the past couple of years. I mean, I don't hate the storyline. People online need to stop acting like Chris Jericho isn'

The Night John Cena Was Drafted Twice

With the WWE Draft coming up, we’re taking a look back at some of the most iconic draft moments of all time. Today, we’re looking into the 2011 WWE Draft. When John Cena was drafted twice in one night. First from Smackdown to Raw, which blew people’s minds. Then from Smackdown to Raw. All within the same night. You see in 2024, Smackdown is the A show but in 2011 it was very much the B show. The idea of John Cena going to the show with less viewers didn’t make any sense.   They accomplished what they wanted with the angle. They got the “OMG” moment from fans like myself who started thinking about all the repercussions for WWE if John Cena goes to Smackdown.  The first match of the show was a 20 man battle royal for one draft pick. It was an equal mix of wrestlers from Raw and Smackdown. Big Show and Kofi from Smackdown lastly eliminated Mason Ryan from Raw. The draft pick that was announced? John Cena! It looked like John Cena was moving to Smackdown. From the A show to the B show. It
